The United States will reduce import duties on South Korean automobiles to 15%, effective retroactively to November 1, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick announced Tuesday.
The tariff reduction will align South Korean auto import duties with those imposed on vehicles from Japan and the European Union, creating reciprocal tariff levels across these trading partners.
