Japan stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Textile sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 rose 2.44% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Nikkei 225 were SoftBank Group Corp. (TYO:9984), which rose 12.70% or 478.00 points to trade at 4,242.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Advantest Corp. (TYO:6857) added 8.52% or 2,120.00 points to end at 27,000.00 and Renesas Electronics Corp (TYO:6723) was up 7.96% or 201.50 points to 2,732.50 in late trade.
