Thailand: Price for natural rubber in constant increase

(MENAFN) A top administrative official stated on Tuesday, November 3, that Thailand's price for natural rubber at local markets carried on augmenting as a consequence of more commands than supplies.

According to Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) Governor Nakorn Tangavirapat, the local prices for natural rubber have lately augmented to 81 baht (about USD2.60) per kg and might even increase to 100 baht (almost USD3.21) a kg in the predictable future since the demands have exceeded the supplies.

Nakorn earlier stated that the rubber prices at the local markets will not fall lower than 70 baht (about USD2.24) per kg until the end of 2020, given the augmenting demands on both local and export markets.
