ASEAN Rubber Busines Council Workshop

In conjunction with the Thailand Rubber Association (TRA) Dinner that was held on April 29th, 2016, the ASEAN Rubber Business Council (ARBC) had organized ARBC Workshop on 30th April consisting three (3) sessions at Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel, Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand:

1. Session 1: Discussion on the Current Low NR Prices and Market Outlook;
2. Session 2 : Brainstorming on the Establishment of Better Price Discovery Mechanism for Natural Rubber; and
3. Session 3 : Discussion on the Standard Guidelines for Shipment Terms (INCOTERM)

The workshop was attended by representatives from association members of ARBC such as The Association for Rubber Development of Cambodia (ARDC), Rubber Association of Indonesia (GAPKINDO), Malaysian Rubber Exchange (MRE)/Federation of the Rubber Trade Associations of Malaysia (FRTAM), Rubber Trade Association of Singapore (RTAS), Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA) and TRA. The representatives from International Rubber Consortium Limited (IRCo) also participated in the Session 1 and 2 with the objective to brainstorm the establishment of better price discovery mechanism for NR.
