In conjunction with the Gabungan Perusahaan Karet Indonesia (GAPKINDO) Dinner that was held on 26th August 2016, the ASEAN Rubber Business Council (ARBC) had organized two meetings: 22nd Assembly of the ARBC and the 17th Meeting of the Economics and Statistics Committee of the ARBC at Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta on 27th August 2016.
Among the important matters discussed in the ARBC meetings were market situation of the declining of rubber prices, NR Statistics, market outlook, rubber trade contracts as well as the administrative and financial matters of the organisation.
Hosted by GAPKINDO, both meetings were attended by representatives from association members of ARBC such as The Association for Rubber Development of Cambodia (ARDC), Rubber Association of Indonesia (GAPKINDO), Malaysian Rubber Exchange (MRE)/Federation of the Rubber Trade Associations of Malaysia (FRTAM), Thai Rubber Association (TRA), Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA) and RTAS.
