    Asia FX weakens, dollar gains after US-Iran peace talks falter

     Most Asian currencies weakened on Monday, while the dollar caught safe haven bids after U.S.-Iran peace talks fell through and as Washington prepared to blockade Tehran’s ports. 

    Regional currencies were also pressured by data from last week showing a sharp increase in U.S. consumer inflation, which spurred more concerns over the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates steady for longer. The dollar also benefited from this notion.
