Malaysia’s natural rubber (NR) production declined significantly in February 2026, reflecting weaker output amid continued volatility in the sector, according to data released by Department of Statistics Malaysia.
NR production fell 24.1% month-on-month to 21,705 tonnes in February, compared with 28,579 tonnes recorded in January. On a year-on-year basis, output dropped even more sharply by 39.7% from 36,005 tonnes in February 2025.
